1. go to google maps app on your phone
2. tap and hold to drop the pin on the location of your home
3. once the pin is dropped , the details bar will appear , drag the details bar up to see more options
4. tap on the option called ” add missing place”
5. give details like name of the home etc
6. choose home in category
7. then submit it to google.

NOTE: once you choose the home as category the place you add will not be published publicly but it will instead be in your maps or all the maps where your account is logged in.
