How to Backup My Hardrive to Google Photos? [Solved]

In the settings for the Google Photos Desktop Uploader (App downloads - Google Photos) you can find the option to select folders that you wish to back up. While your hard drive is connected to your computer, browse to the desired folder and add it. Depending on your folder structure, it may make sense to add a “parent” folder - which will backup all photos contained in its “child” directories - instead of single folders individually.

Feel free to comment if you have any issues.

Simply drag and drop the folder from the hard drive to the Google photos. It uploads only the photos and videos present in the drive automatically.

If you want to upload from Google drive then

Open settings in your Google photos

Then enable the drive option so that it syncs with the photos.
