How to Transfer Google Photos From One Account to Another? [Solved]
There’s no one-click way to transfer Google Photos from one account to another.
If you have your photos backed up in local storage such as hard drive and computer, you can directly upload them to another Google Photos account. If that’s not the case, then you have three options to do so:
- Download all your photos or albums in a .zip file from one account, extract the photos, and upload them to the another Google Photos account. This can be automated by using PicBackMan, select one account to proceed downloading and other one for uploading.
- Another option is to get a shareable link from the one account and email it to the another. When you open the link, select ‘Add to Library’ and all the photos will be added to the another account.
- Google also offers an option to share your photo library with one partner which you can use to share photos across two accounts.
Sadly there’s no easy way. The best way is to use Google Takeout to download ALL your photos and then upload to another account. Certainly painful. Another option is to share with your new Google Account so you can have access to your photos.
