How to Upload Voice Memos on My Iphone Directly to Dropbox or Google Drive? [Solved]
Since iOS 8, it’s possible to directly upload voice memos to third-party services via the built-in “Share” option.
For this to work, you need first to install the dedicated iOS app:
- Dropbox app
- Google Drive app
Once installed, you’ll need to open the app and sign into your account.
To directly upload a voice memo:
- Open the Voice Memos app
- Tap on the desired memo
- Tap on the “Share” icon
- For Dropbox, tap on “Save to Dropbox” (bottom row)
- For Google Drive, tap on “Drive” (middle row)
- Choose the destination folder
- Tap on “Save” or “Upload”
PS: If you don’t see the “Save to Dropbox” or “Drive” icons, scroll to the right and tap on “More” to activate them.
Another way to upload voice memos on my iPhone directly to Dropbox or Google Drive?
If you already have a few recordings in the Apple's voice recordings app, there is no other sane way than syncing them to your computer first, either by WiFi or USB. The Voice memos app doesn't have any third-party sharing options (only e-mail and iMessage) and it does not have any APIs that developers could use to interact with its data and provide a syncing service in their own application, like Dropdox does with syncing of photos.
